EVER-GROWING LIST OF CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS
COMPANY HAS GROWN WITH THESE REQUIREMENTS SINCE BEING FOUNDED IN 1951
"How can you save energy and increase the efficiency of systems?"
This was the fundamental issue facing Paul Verpoort when he founded the 'Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftliche Wärmeverwertung' (the 'Cost-Effective Heat Recovery Company'), or WWV, in 1951.
Verpoort's entrepreneurial spirit is evident in early patents for steam traps and heating pockets. At that time, he surely couldn't have known that his company would one day be working in areas such as pipework and system construction.
'Energy' and 'efficiency' do, however, remain cornerstones of our daily work: energy and the conversion thereof, plays a key role in the majority of the systems that we plan and build. Efficiency is essential to all of our activities – regardless of whether we are planning or assembling an item within the field of pipeline/systems engineering or within electrics & instrumentation. Ultimately, the main aim is to stay on schedule and earn some money in the process.
Fortunately, we have been able to further develop alongside our customers, which has had a particularly noticeable effect both in terms of safety and diversity. This means our safety record is recognised by our customers, as is the level of mutual respect we have within our company, regardless of background or gender.
